Definition of cavity

plural cavities

        1:  an unfilled space within a mass; especially :  a hollowed-out space”

 

 An occurrence of cavity is a part of nature and culture. It stands in contrast to the material/phenomenon/situation/activity that is appearing in. It creates a space in between - indefinite and showing underneath, reveal a truth about substance that is existing in - can show what it is made of.
